Our Story

Founded in 2010, Steel Builders was established with a simple purpose: to make steel solutions smarter, faster, and more accessible for the Australian residential construction market. What began as a trusted supplier of structural steel has grown into a partner of choice for builders, engineers, and certifiers who value technical precision, customer-first service, and genuine, on-the-ground support.

In an industry where delays, rework, and complex compliance can slow progress, Steel Builders works alongside customers with engineered, compliant solutions focused on simplifying the build process and supporting more efficient, reliable outcomes on site.

In 2024, Steel Builders expanded its journey with the inclusion of Network Steel. Based in Queensland, Network Steel brought established manufacturing capability, deep local knowledge, and a shared commitment to quality and compliance.

Together, we employ more than 200 families and remain proudly Australian owned, focused on supporting the residential construction industry with dependable, compliant steel solutions.

Facilities & Capability

In February 2026, Steel Builders relocated from St Marys to our new purpose-built facility in Glendenning. This move represents a significant investment in our future and our ability to better support customers across the residential construction industry.

The new site allows us to expand production capacity, introduce advanced machinery including robotics, and improve workflow efficiency across manufacturing and dispatch. These upgrades support a safer working environment, greater consistency in output, and a more sustainable approach to steel processing, ensuring we continue to deliver reliable, compliant solutions as our business grows.
